Informativ Group Corporation develops and operates a psycholinguistic decision-intelligence platform for use in programmatic advertising. Our ADAM (Adaptive Decision Architecture Model) analyses the psychological alignment between advertising messages, content environments, and buyer decision stages — derived from a corpus of over 937 million purchase reviews — to optimise creative selection, placement, and sequential messaging at the impression level.
Informativ operates as a data controller in respect of the personal data described in this policy. Where we process personal data on behalf of advertising partners, we do so under a data processing agreement that governs the scope and purpose of that processing.
Informativ integrates with demand-side platforms (DSPs) and advertising partners via three data flows:
Informativ does not use cookies, does not deploy client-side JavaScript tags on publisher or advertiser pages, and does not access or store information on a user's device. All data flows are server-to-server. This architecture means TCF Purpose 1 (Store and/or access information on a device) does not apply to Informativ's operations.
| Category | Description | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Hashed user identifiers | Pseudonymous identifiers passed by DSP partners at impression and conversion time. Hashed by the DSP prior to transmission. Informativ does not hold a key to re-identify these identifiers. | 90 days |
| Browsing and interaction data | Page domain, content category, and ad interaction signals (impression, click, conversion) associated with a hashed user identifier. | 90 days |
| Device characteristics | Device type and operating system passed in the ad request context. Used for creative parameter optimisation. | 90 days |
| Psychological profile data | Inferred buyer decision-stage and creative response profile, built and updated from impression and conversion events associated with a hashed user identifier. | 90 days |
| Campaign learning data | Aggregated, de-identified statistical models derived from campaign outcomes. Used to improve creative recommendations across campaigns. Does not contain individual-level identifiers. | Retained for platform duration |
Informativ does not process: names, email addresses, postal addresses, precise geolocation data, financial data, health data, or any special categories of personal data as defined under GDPR Article 9. Informativ does not knowingly process data relating to individuals under the age of 18.
Informativ is a registered vendor under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.3). The table below sets out the TCF purposes for which Informativ processes personal data, the legal basis relied upon, and the maximum data retention period applicable to each purpose.
Informativ relies on consent as the sole legal basis for all purposes involving the processing of personal data for advertising. Informativ does not rely on legitimate interest for any purpose involving the creation or use of individual buyer profiles. Consent signals are received via the TC string passed in the bid request by the DSP. Informativ does not process personal data where a valid consent signal has not been established.

Informativ defines psychologically-derived audience segments based on buyer decision archetypes. These segments are uploaded to DSP partner audience libraries. At this stage, Informativ transmits segment definitions only — no individual user data is transmitted by Informativ. The DSP matches users to segments using its own identity infrastructure.
At impression time, Informativ receives a request from the DSP containing a segment identifier, page context (domain, content category), and where available a hashed user identifier. Informativ returns creative parameters — the optimal persuasion mechanism, message framing, tone, urgency level, and detail level — for that impression. The DSP uses these parameters to select or assemble the appropriate creative variant. Informativ does not serve creative. This processing is conducted under TCF Purposes 2, 4, and 6 on the basis of consent.
Where a user interacts with an ad delivered using Informativ's creative parameters, the DSP forwards a conversion or engagement event to Informativ via server-to-server webhook. Informativ uses this data to:
This processing is conducted under TCF Purposes 3, 7, 9, and 10 on the basis of consent.
Informativ supports adaptive sequential creative strategies. Based on diagnostic reasoning derived from prior impression and conversion events, each subsequent impression in a retargeting sequence is selected to address the specific barrier identified in the buyer's response to previous touches. This processing involves the buyer's accumulated psychological profile and is conducted under TCF Purposes 3 and 4 on the basis of consent.
Aggregated, de-identified insights derived from campaign outcomes are used to improve Informativ's creative recommendation models across all campaigns and categories. This processing does not involve individual-level identifiers and is conducted under TCF Purpose 10. De-identified campaign learning data is retained for the duration of the platform's operation.
For the avoidance of doubt, Informativ does not:
Informativ processes personal data in the context of programmatic advertising only where a valid consent signal has been established under the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.3). Consent signals are received via the TC string passed by the DSP in the bid request.
Where a valid consent signal for the relevant TCF purposes has not been established, Informativ does not process personal data in connection with that impression.
Informativ does not process personal data on the basis of legitimate interest for any purpose involving the creation or use of individual buyer profiles.
Users wishing to withdraw consent from Informativ's processing may do so via the consent management platform (CMP) on the publisher page through which they interact with advertising served using Informativ's technology. Users may also contact Informativ directly at privacy@informativgroup.com to exercise their rights.
Informativ does not sell personal data. Informativ does not share personal data with third parties for third-party marketing purposes.
Informativ Group Corporation is based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred from the UK or EEA to Informativ's US infrastructure, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Commission or the UK Secretary of State, as applicable. All data flows between Informativ and its DSP partners are conducted over encrypted connections. Contact privacy@informativgroup.com to request a copy of applicable transfer safeguards.
Where Informativ processes personal data in connection with its platform services, individuals have the following rights under applicable law:
Given the pseudonymous nature of the identifiers Informativ processes, exercising certain rights — particularly erasure — may require cooperation with the relevant DSP partner to verify and fulfil requests. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
